Your tour will start as you arrive at Delhi Airport/Railway Station, where our representative will meet you gladly and make arrangements to transfer you to Haridwar. After reaching Haridwar, you’ll be transferred to your comfy hotel, where you will spend some time in solitude. After a while, you will go for Haridwar sightseeing. Situated amid the foothills of the Himalayas, Haridwar is one of the holiest sites that attracts a vast number of devotees throughout the year. Hindus regard Haridwar to be a sacred town in India.
It is one of the places where the holy Kumbh Mela is organized every twelve years. It is dotted with many temples and ashrams that offer yoga sessions and meditation classes. In the evening, you’ll proceed to visit Har Ki Pauri, the most colorful ghat in the city. At Har Ki Pauri, you’ll witness Ganges Aarti. After the divine experience, head back to your hotel and have a blissful sleep.
Fuel yourself with a luscious breakfast, and then pack your bags as you’ll proceed to the next destination, Barkot. Barkot is a scenic town in Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi district. It is a famous tourist destination renowned for its peaceful surroundings and natural beauty. Barkot is a base for trekking expeditions to Bandarpunch, Kalanag, and Swargarohini peaks.
The town is situated near the Char Dhams of Yamunotri and Gangotri and is an excellent base for visiting these temples. There are also natural hot springs in Barkot believed to have medicinal properties. Once you reach Barkot, you’ll be dropped at your hotel and have a soothing sleep.
Relish a lip-smacking breakfast; you’ll head to Hanuman Chatti, a beautiful hamlet situated in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand on the way to Yamunotri. From Hanuman Chatti, you’ll have to hire a local jeep that will drop you at Janki Chatti. Janki Chatti is considered to be the starting point of the Yamunotri trek. The total distance of the trek is around seven kilometers from each side.
You’ll reach Yamunotri Jee from Janki Chatti either by horse or on foot. If you undertake the trek on a horse, you’ll have to pay the additional charges. After arriving in Yamunotri Jee, you’ll visit the temple and then head back to Barkot. In Barkot, you’ll have an overnight stay at your hotel.
Post a hearty breakfast, you’ll pack your bags and head to Guptkashi. Guptkashi is a sacred town in Uttarakhand situated on the route to Kedarnath. It is dotted with numerous temples and ashrams where you can seek bliss and tranquility. Once you reach Guptkashi, you’ll be dropped at your pre-booked hotel. Check-in at your hotel and have a relaxing sleep thinking about the exciting happenings of the next day.
Wake up early in the morning and treat yourself to a yummy breakfast. After a lavish breakfast, you’ll check out from your hotel and head to Gaurikund. Gaurikund is a prime Hindu holy site considered as the starting point for the Kedarnath trek. After reaching Gaurikund, you’ll undertake a trek to Kedarnath. You can either trek on foot or by pony. After arriving at Kedarnath, you’ll check into your hotel and destress yourself by taking a short nap.
After some time, get ready to visit Shankaracharya Samadhi, which embodies the great Hindu saint Shankaracharya’s profound spiritual influence. In the evening, partake in the aarti at Kedarnath temple. The aarti celebrates Lord Shiva’s divinity as Baba Kedar. After the aarti, return to your hotel and have an overnight stay.
Give a blissful start to your morning by visiting the Kedarnath Temple, one of the most sacred destinations in the world dedicated to Lord Shiva. After the divine darshan, you’ll undertake a moderately challenging trek to Gaurikund. From Gaurikund, you’ll be transferred to Srinagar. Srinagar is a piece of paradise on Earth with breathtaking landscapes, lush green surroundings, and panoramic attractions. After reaching Srinagar, you’ll check in to your hotel and spend the night delightfully.
Relish a delicious breakfast and then head to Rishikesh. At Rishikesh, you’ll enjoy a full-day tour of Rishikesh and visit famous attractions like the Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Geeta Bhavan, and Raghunath Temple. In the evening, you’ll visit Parmarth Ashram to witness the Ganges Aarti. Return to your hotel after the sightseeing tour and have an overnight stay.
Post a mouth-watering breakfast, go sightseeing in Rishikesh and see the hidden sites that are not much known to the tourists. After that, you’ll be transferred to Delhi. After arriving in Delhi, you’ll be dropped at the Delhi Railway Station or Airport for an onward journey to your home town. With this, your spiritual tour ends. I go to the Statue of Unity one-day tour, tour started from Ahmedabad with Gujarat Expert, and this was a fantastic family experience.
